Oranim's Taste of Israel
Experience a taste of Israel in this unique and wonderful trip. Learn how Israeli's all over the country live. Volunteer on a kibbutz, soak up the sun in Tel Aviv and volunteer in developing cities of Israel.
July 2 - July 15 (Kibbutz Galon)
Start your trip on Kibbutz Galon in Israel's southern lowland. Participants will get a chance to experience the kibbutz lifestyle while volunteering on the kibbutz in a variety of different options.
What is included:
- 2 Meals per day (not including Saturday)
- Supplies are provided to make own breakfast
- Lunch at the dining room
- Dinner not included
- Volunteer approximately 5-8 hours per day
- 1/2 day tour of Kibbutz & area
July 15 - July 23 (Community Involvement)
Volunteer in an educational setting in developing city in either Ashdod or Ramla
- Housing
- Volunteer approximately 5-8 hours per day in educational settings
- 2 Enrichment Activities
- 1/2 day tour of City & area
July 23 - July 30 (Tel Aviv)
Finish off the program in vibrant, progressive, sun-soaked Tel Aviv. Spend your days soaking up the sun on the beach or heading out on one of our daily cultural excursions.
What is included:
- Housing
- Join the second week of an existing Tel Aviv Cultural Experience session (refer to program for details)
- Participate on at least 1 museum visit
- Participate on at least 1 day tour
- 1 Enrichment Activity
Participants will return home having gotten a true taste of all that Israel has to offer.
Cost: $1450 + $2/day medical insurance
