Oranim Long Term Israel Programs invites you to spend five meaningful and fulfilling months in Israel’s Capital: Jerusalem. Here you will have the chance to pursue opportunities in whatever career path you choose. During the Jerusalem Experience, you will not be making coffee, filing for hours on end, or wasting time answering phones. Instead, you will receive hands on guidance and practical training while consistently working on several important projects. Essentially, you will bypass the American tradition of working your way up from the mail room and experience the Israeli way, where on day one you're treated like you've already been working there for years! On the other hand, you have the possibility to volunteer throughout the months in educational settings. Contribute to underprivileged communities and make a difference in their lives! Either way, the choice is yours!

Naturally, while you're here, you will have ample time to explore the historical and beautiful streets of the Old City, make lasting friendships with Israelis and other international travelers. After the best five months of your life, you will leave Israel with skills and experience derived from opportunities you will not be able to find anywhere else, except on the Jerusalem Experience.

Opportunities are available in just about any field. Our Placement Coordinator will work closely with you to ensure the perfect placement is found. Here are some fields we've placed our interns in already:

One week of Program Orientation. Five months Accommodation in Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel. Five months Placement - four or five shifts per week in a field of your choice. Give back to the community or intern at a place of your choice. Free Transportation between your accommodations and your internship. Hebrew Ulpan Instruction. Trips and Special Excursions around Israel. Discussions and Lectures on Israel's politics, history, society, culture and Judaism with Jewish Leaders. Host Families - Providing a home away from home for Shabbat and Holidays.
