Master's in Israel Tuition:
Master's in Israel is able to provide an incredibly affordable, comprehensive tuition package due to subsidization from the Israeli government and generous private donations. Tuition for the Full Program (with housing) includes:
- Housing
- Graduate tuition
- Hebrew studies
- Trips inside Israel
- Transportation from Ben Gurion Airport to group residence
All participants are required to purchase health insurance and are responsible for basic daily expenses (including food and transportation to and from school).

++ A deposit of $1,000 is collected from all participants to secure your place on the program. The deposit is required to be submitted within one week of your acceptance to the program. Upon successful completion of the program, only these participants will receive the complete $1,000 back. Full tuition must be paid 30 days prior to the program start date. Failure to do so will potentially forfeit your deposit and placement on the program.

Deposit Terms & Conditions
In order apply to Master's in Israel, you will be asked to make a $1000 deposit to secure your place in the program. This deposit will be returned to you in full upon successful completion of the program. A detailed outline of the Payment Terms & Conditions can be found here.
Wells Fargo Education Connection Loan
Many Master's in Israel participants have successfully received the Education Connection Loan from Wells Fargo. To learn more, inquire at your local Wells Fargo branch.

The list below was complied to help you in your search for financial aid and should help you get started - please continue to search the internet yourself for opportunities not included on this list. The first place to look for financial aid would is your local synagogue; speak to your rabbi about scholarships offered in your community. Many of your local Jewish foundations (Federation, JCC, Hadassa, B'nai Brith, Chabad, etc - very good places to check!) may offer scholarships for study in Israel - you should check here first. Remember: you may apply for multiple scholarships. Check the list below for some scholarships and loans available to you by region.

- Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture
This fund is for independent scholarly, literary, or art projects done in Israel. Please inquire regarding the deadline. The amount granted ranges from $1,000-$4,000.

- The Samuel Lemberg Scholarship Loan Fund
Provides special no-interest scholarships-loans to Jewish men and women pursuing any undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree. Recipients assume a moral obligation to repay their loans within ten years after the completion of their studies. No web site could be found. - Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program
Annual awards for Jewish college juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled full-time at an accredited postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate financial need, promise, and have been born or raised in either Cook County, Illinois, in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area or in Northwest Indiana OR have worked full-time one continuous year in Cook County, or in the Chicago metropolitan area. Applicants must demonstrate promise in Medicine, Social Work, Performing and Fine Arts, Healthcare/Public Health, Urban Affairs, Technical Sciences, Education, Psychology, the Rabbinate, Mathematics, Engineering, the Sciences, Communications, or Law. An interview is required. Number of awards and award amount may vary.

The Jewish Educational Loan Fund gives interest-free loans to Jewish students throughout the Southeast for post-secondary education, including college, graduate school and vocational courses of study. Since 1961, JELF has granted over $4.5 million to over 2,600 students.

- The Jewish Free Loan Association
provides loans for Jewish graduate students up to $3,000 per year. Student loans are renewable on an annual basis. Students must be permanent residents of Southern California and enrolled full-time with a GPA over 2.5 and two co-signers. Monthly loan payments are reduced while students are in school, increasing three months after graduation.

The Israel Center of the Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay offers scholarships for high school and university students who study in the East Bay or whose parents are from there. This scholarship is for organized programs in Israel and the money awarded can be used either toward the program itself or for the price of ticket if booked through Israel Travel Express. The amount awarded depends on the cost of the program and the applicant's involvement in Jewish or Israel activities. Financial need is also taken into consideration, but not required. Those awarded are expected to contribute to the Jewish community through service projects upon return.

The Israel Center of the United Jewish Federation of San Diego County offers Israel youth travel scholarships for high school and college students between the ages of 15-26 who are participating in programs 3 weeks or longer. There are 2 scholarships available.
- UJF Israel Center Scholarship-for teens and young adults, between $100-$1500 is awarded. Applications are due in early April
- Federation-Synagogue Partnership Fund- the federation matches up to $1,500 in funds with participating synagogues.

Bureau of Jewish Education of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties Koret Sholarship for Undergraduate and Graduate Study in Israel.
The purpose of this scholarship is to assist college students from the San Francisco Jewish Federation area who wish to participate in long or short- term academic study in Israel. The maximum amount awarded per year is $2,500 per applicant. Eligibility is for students between the ages of 18-26. The application procedure includes submitting w-2 forms, tax returns, 2 letters of reference, a letter of acceptance into the Israel program, a program brochure, and a billing statement. Funding is given as needed.

of the United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh (UJF) coordinates the efforts of a group of organizations, agencies, and scholarship endowment funds which provide scholarships to local Jewish students enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education. CSLRS is a program of the UJF and is administered by the Career Development Center of Jewish Family & Children's Service. The geographical area includes Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland counties, where applicants must have resided for two years before applying.

The Frank Gilford Scholarship - Preference for this scholarship is given to candidates who are pursuing a career in Jewish education in the Dallas area or in Israel. Undergraduate candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and score at least 1,000 on the Scholastic Achievement Test or 24 on the ACT. Graduate students must also have at least a 3.0, score a 540 on verbal, 640 on quantitative, 600 on analytical for the GRE, or a 32 on the verbal and a 35 on the quantitative for the GMAT or an equivalent. Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle Garmo Scholorships. The Garmo Scholarship is available to residents of Washington state only for either an undergraduate or graduate academic year course of study with a non religious college or university in Israel. Awards range from $250-$2,500 and are given to individuals studying or conducting significant research or career development in Israel. This award is based primarily on financial need and academic merit. Priority is given to first timers. Any awardees that do not complete a full year of school must pay back the grant.
