Terms & Conditions

Deposit

A deposit is required to secure your place on one of Israel Way Programs.

Payment Terms

Payment in full for the tuition for the program is due no later than 30 days prior to the beginning of the program.  Payments are accepted electronically via credit card, e-checks (US Only), bank transfer, and/or over the phone. Our Payment Center allows payment by all major credit cards. When paying with a credit card, you will incur a 3.5% service fee. If you have a US bank account, you can make your payment via electronic check with no service fees. Payment is based on the program package rate for the services listed in the program agreement. Oranim uses confidential negotiated industry rates and will not provide a breakdown of costs of the package.

Security Checks

Part of the tuition of your program depends on a grant from Masa. The money from this grant is not given to Oranim Project until after the completion of the program. If a participant leaves the program at any time, no money is given by Masa to Israel Way/Oranim for the participant. For this reason, in addition to the Deposit and Tuition, Oranim Project is also requesting security checks to be held until the completion of the program. These checks will not be deposited unless the participant leaves the program before its completion. Since the amount of grant money from Masa varies by age, so does the security checks. All participants are required to provide checks in the amount of their Masa grant. The checks should be dated with specific dates. The first check should be dated the start date of your program. The second check should be dated 90 days later, etc.  These checks are to be sent to our US office. You must include the Security Check Form (which can be found in your Registration Center) in the envelope with your check(s).

Refund & Cancellation:

Deposit Refund Policy

A deposit is required to secure a spot on one of Israel Way/Oranim Project Programs. If cancellations are made to a reservation within 14 days, a $75 registration fee will be charged and the difference will be returned in full. After 14 days, any cancellations will not receive any refund for the deposit. Upon successful completion of the program, the deposit will be returned (after the $75 registration fee deduction).

Deposits made within 30 days of program start date are non-refundable. If a participant was approved as a late applicant, deposits are non-refundable within 30 days of your program start date. For example: If you pay your deposit 35 days from your program start date, you will have 5 days to cancel and receive a full refund. If you pay your deposit 20 days from your program start date, you will forfeit your deposit but have up to one year to apply it towards a future program.

Tuition Refund Policy

If a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the start date of the program, a full refund of tuition paid will be given (excluding the deposit). If a cancellation is made 15-29 days before the start date of the program, a 50% refund of tuition paid will be given (excluding the deposit). If a cancellation is made 5-14 days before the program start date, a 25% refund of tuition paid will be given (excluding the deposit). Cancellations less than 5 days before the start date of the program will not receive any refund.

All cancellations must be sent by e-mail to: info@destinationisrael.com

Medical Insurance
Oranim Project requires participants to be covered by Israeli medical insurance. Participants are required to purchase the medical insurance package from Oranim Project (except for programs that include insurance) that covers them for the entire length of their program. If a participant leaves the program for any reason prior to its completion, the insurance package is canceled and no refund is provided.

Failure to Complete the Program
If you leave the program - due to expulsion or a personal decision - you will lose your program deposit and will receive no refund on your tuition. You will also risk losing one or all of your security checks. The amount deposited will be at the sole discretion of Israel Way/Oranim Project.

Disclaimer
In case of force majeure, the only penalties we will charge will be those charged to Oranim Project by our suppliers. In no case is Oranim Project required to present justification for the penalties and their amounts. In case of participation cancellation during the trip, no refund will be given for unused services and all expenses and all costs relating to returning the participant to his or her home will be the sole responsibility of the participant. If you are removed from the program before its completion, the above terms apply.
