Description of the Company: SKS was founded in 2006 with the goal of bringing the world closer together and building relationships by removing international boarders through trade. The goal is to make trade mutually beneficial and open doors that had not been possible in the past. Through the advancement of technologies they have been able to help many businesses grow.
Title of Internship Position: International Business Development Intern
Description of the Internship: Interns at SKS do work with marketing and sales. They create marketing materials, edit documents and web pages, script sales pitches and complete sales calls outside of Israel. Typically the interns receive a new client or product each week. When they start on a new client, they begin with market research and then create marketing material for that client. Periodically interns also meet with the clients to discuss progress.

Description of Company: StarTau, Tel Aviv University's Entrepreneurship Center, was established in 2009 in order to serve Israel's aspiring entrepreneurs, specifically focusing on TAU students and alumni. StarTau is a non-profit organization that assists businesses and entrepreneurs from a variety of business fields including: internet ventures, bio-tech development, mobile applications, low-tech ventures, patent licensing, and more.
Title of Internship Position: Global Entrepreneurship Program Manager
Description of Internship: Current Intern’s are responsible for the creation of StarTau’s new English website. They work with the graphic designer and web developer to create the page. Additionally, the Program Manager Intern is responsible to research various entrepreneurial centers around the world to integrate them into StarTau’s hub. They also put together business plans and assist other staff members on various projects.
Benefits: The atmosphere at StarTau makes it a fun work environment to be a part of. All of the staff members are in their 20’s, and are all extremely helpful to the interns. StarTau takes a few interns from Masa programs. All the interns and staff work as a team and create strong bonds with one another. It takes about 30 minutes to commute to StarTau’s offices by bus.
