Tel Aviv Internship Experience - Internship Placement:
Oranim's Tel Aviv Internship Experience Placement Coordinators work directly with program participants and leading Israeli companies and organizations in both the public and private sectors to ensure each intern makes the most out of his or her experience while in Israel. Past interns have been placed in a variety of fields including business, finance, hi-tech, communications, arts, nonprofit, education, media and the internet. Enhance your resume with an internship in the field in which you have studied. Internships are key to starting your career or furthering your education.
In order to give you the ultimate experience while in Israel, Oranim's Tel Aviv Internship Experience works with leading companies and organizations. We try our hardest to match the expectations of each individual intern when it comes to their placement. It is vitally important to submit your resume as soon as you apply for the program to give our Placement Coordinators the maximum amount of time to work in finding your placement. We ask though that you be realistic with your expectations regarding your placement.
Please bear in mind the following:
- You are only in Israel for five months. Organizations may not be inclined to give you major roles during your internship, but remember that any and all experience is valuable.
- Experience is important to Israeli companies; therefore, if you are just out of university, your responsibilities may be limited.
- English has become a very widely used language, but most business is still conducted in Hebrew. There may be portions of your work you will not be able to do or will need to ask for assistance with. Don't be shy! As you practice your Hebrew, things will become easier for you.
Our goal is to have several internship opportunities for you before you arrive to Israel. Some of the companies will ask to have a phone conversation with you prior to your arrival. During your first weeks, you will go on face-to-face interviews and make your decisions on which internship you will take.
An internship is what the intern makes of it. Having realistic expectations will allow you to learn from your internship and feel that your contribution is valuable.
